Veteran’s Story: I don’t have very much information about my dad. I know he had a lot of trouble with drugs when he came back. He went through treatment several times. He was actually doing pretty good until his best friend and fellow veteran died in an accident. From what I understand it was all downhill from there. He came home after a night of drinking, got his gun, and went to the garage to shoot himself. He left behind a 24 year old wife, a five year old daughter and a four year old son.
