Veteran’s Story: Terry grew up in Norman, Oklahoma. He is buried in the IOOF cemetery there. I do not remember the date that he committed suicide. Prior to going to Vietnam, he had been a very happy young man. I was a long time friend of his that had moved away and had heard the news from my mother. She told me he was supposed to be getting married and then jumped off a 12 story building. I do not know what really happened. There were problems with his family over this because he was Catholic.
