Veteran’s Story: My father had been ill for a couple years with tuberculosis. He had 7 children 2 of which were under the age of 5 years. He scarcely spoke of the war and what he did and saw over there, but when he did speak of it, it was harsh and he was drunk and pissed off. I am his son am I am proud to say that I loved that man. I miss him dearly, and think of him daily. He was 55 years young.
