Veteran’s Story: Michael John Matthews was my father. He was my best friend,supporter and the best father a daughter could ask for. Since he died my brother Shawn Michael Matthews committed suicide on May 23rd 2006. My grief cannot be explained in mere words. Life feels so lonely without them is all I can say at this time.
