Veteran’s Story: Started first grade with Kenny and he married my best friend. They had been childhood sweethearts, but went on to marry others.Years later they were reuited and married. Kenny was very troubled after returning home from Vietnam. He went to the VA Hospital in Reno, Nevada for help. He suffered from flasbacks, and tried to numb himself with drugs and alcohol. No one knows what was going through his mind on that terrible day that he committed suicide. Kenny was a very dear friend and I miss him every day.
