Veteran’s Story: He could never understand why he made it out and all his buddies did not. Why so many kids, women, and good people had to die. From what I understand, after being dropped into that God forsaken place they had to kill or be killed. He let guilt wear him down after 38 years of fighting. He was a great man and was just a child when he went in to the battlefield. He was not ready for what he went through but is anyone ever ready to go through that type of hell. I guess I am happy that he came home for 36 years since so many people never even got the chance to see their dad after they left for war. I miss you DAD!
