Veteran’s Story: In July of 1989, my husband of 17 years took his own life. He left behind three children that struggle even today with his death. In 1990, I began the process of filing Post Traumatic Stress Lawsuit and was awarded his benefits in 1992. This was a way of bring honor to his death by recognizing the damage his experience in Vietnam caused him and us. While I have always tried to help our children focus on his love for them, I have been careful to never minimize the war experience. I have been to the Wall, it was a truely profound experience. Someday, perhaps, I can take the children. It is a place that where words fail and emotions prevail.This site is a place for us to place him, so he will not be forgotten!Sincerely, Pamela J.
